These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Swabby's Window Services ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a service with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Services.
1. Services
Swabby's Window Services provides professional window cleaning and related exterior cleaning services for residential and commercial properties in the Louisville, KY metro area. The specific services to be performed will be agreed upon at the time of booking and may include interior window cleaning, exterior window cleaning, screen cleaning, sill and track cleaning, and other agreed-upon services.
We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine that providing the service would be unsafe, impractical, or outside the scope of our capabilities. We will communicate any limitations or concerns prior to commencing work.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided are estimates based on the information you supply. The final price may vary if the scope of work differs from what was originally described. We will always discuss any price changes with you before proceeding with additional work.
Prices are quoted in US Dollars and are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust our prices to reflect changes in costs, market conditions, or service demand.
3. Appointments and Access
When you book a service, you agree to provide us with safe and reasonable access to the areas requiring cleaning. This includes ensuring that gates are unlocked, pets are secured, and any obstacles are removed where possible.
If we are unable to gain access to the property at the scheduled time and no prior arrangement has been made, we reserve the right to charge a missed appointment fee or reschedule the service at our discretion.
For interior services, we ask that you secure or remove any fragile or valuable items near windows to prevent accidental damage.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions that prevent us from performing the service safely, we will contact you to reschedule at no additional charge.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards.
For commercial or recurring services, we may offer invoicing terms. Invoiced amounts are due within 14 days of the invoice date unless a different arrangement has been agreed upon.
Late payments may incur interest charges or late fees as permitted by applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend recurring services for accounts with outstanding balances.
6. Liability and Insurance
Swabby's Window Services is fully insured for public liability. In the unlikely event that damage occurs to your property as a direct result of our work, we will make every effort to rectify the situation promptly.
Our liability is limited to the cost of rectifying the damage caused by our negligence. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, defects, or conditions that were not apparent prior to our service.
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, acts of God, or access issues caused by the customer.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
We take pride in our work and want every customer to be satisfied. If you are not completely happy with the service provided, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion and we will return to address any concerns at no additional charge.
This guarantee applies to the specific areas of concern raised and does not extend to new or additional services outside the original scope of work.
8. Complaints
If you have a complaint about our service, please contact us as soon as possible at admin@swabbywindows.com or call (502) 523-4166. We take all complaints seriously and will work with you to resolve any issues in a timely and fair manner.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kentucky.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
